We went expecting to see very little of The Tabernacle but this was not the case at all. We got to walk all over the grounds and even go to a practice session of the choir. It was simply beautiful. Full review by Suzy S

There are occasional exceptions to this Thursday night schedule. For example, major holidays, recording sessions, or when the Choir is out of town. Yes, you are right, there is a line ~~ and the broadcast is Live, children and crying babies cannot disturb the music and the production, so babysitters are needed. I arrive 45 mins early because I want seats in the front!! It is first-come first-serve, so I am usually the 3rd or 4th in line. Well worth it! The broadcast is short, only 1/2 hour, but you also get to hear the warm-up and it's so worth it. Every time I go the music touches my heart and a lil tear trickles down my cheek. oh, so the time you ought to get there is 8:30 am. Hope that helps! Answer to Question #3: The Mormon Tabernacle Choir is a church choir, volunteer, and of course blesses the lives of the Saints of Christ… somewhat open to the public; reverence is practiced and respect is huge when we go to church every Sunday, and I guess it would be like going to see a movie ~ no hollering, clapping, shouting, or talking during the performance, to us it's just reverence. So even though visitors are allowed, showing up drunk or with a rude attitude would be disrespectful. It truly is a religious experience, they truly do sing to Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father, not for the praise of man or for awards or other reasons. Please come and enjoy. I have never been fortunate to see the Christmas concert live, have always seen it on tv, magnificent is the word.
