A great visitors center and even better gift shop. On a cold day the warmth inside was great. The rangers were very knowledgeable but the gift staff were simply the best. Full review by rogersober

I see most travelers allowed 2-3 hours--I know we were there longer. The movie, if you get in at the right time, is about 20 minutes and the trolley, which I highly recommend, is 90 minutes, so there's 2 hours right there. After the trolley, my husband and I drove the grounds and took pictures of places we especially liked, such as the arch and Washington's Chapel, which was gorgeous. Maybe 3 hours is right, but we were pushing 4. It's NOT an all day thing.
