William (Billy) Kennedy, MD, is a radiation oncologist and an assistant professor in the Department of Radiation Oncology at Barrow Neurological Institute. Dr. Kennedy's expertise encompasses the treatment of brain and spine tumors using noninvasive radiosurgery, including Gamma Knife and CyberKnife radiosurgery, stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), image-guided intensity-modulated therapy (IMRT), and brachytherapy. He is a member of the American Board of Radiology, the American Society for Radiation Oncology, and the Society for Neuro-Oncology. Dr. Kennedy earned his medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, where he was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
