High schools in Brevard County will soon see the implementation of walk-through metal detectors as the county says they work to enhance security on school campuses. On Friday, Brevard Public Schools announced that they will begin installing these "advanced weapons detection systems" in waves, starting at Melbourne High School on Oct. 8 and 9.
