For the first time, the prestigious Michelin Guide released its Texas edition, celebrating the best dining experiences across the state. In the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area, several restaurants earned spots.

Michelin’s Bib Gourmand award honors restaurants that can offer a two-course meal, plus a glass of wine or dessert, for $50.

The Charles got the big honor at first. But its description in the Guide was, in fact, a description of sibling restaurant Mister Charles.
