The Iran-backed Houthis released a new video showing their attack on the Liberian-flagged cargo ship Eternity C which sank in the Red Sea on Wednesday, killing several crew members according to media reports.
The US has accused the Houthis of kidnapping crew members of a Greek bulker that their forces sank in the Red Sea. The claim comes amid an otherwise muted response from the administration of US President Donald Trump, which forged a ceasefire agreement with the Houthis more than two months ago.
The Houthis have confirmed that they sank another ship, a day after releasing a video showing seizing and blowing up the Liberian-flagged vessel 'Magic Seas'. The militant group's naval forces attacked the 'Eternity C' while it was en route to Eilat port, Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree said in a statement.
