No foul play is suspected in the death of the 19-year-old Walmart employee whose body was found in the store’s walk-in oven in Canada last month, police said Monday.

A company spokesperson previously said that Walmart was “heartbroken" over Gursimran Kaur's death at the store in Halifax, Canada on Oct. 19

Halifax police say the death of a 19-year-old woman found dead last month inside a piece of equipment in the bakery at a Walmart is not suspicious and there is no evidence of foul play.

Police have ruled that a young woman’s death in the walk-in oven of a Halifax Walmart last month was not suspicious. The body of 19-year-old Gursimran Kaur was discovered Oct. 19 by her mother, who also worked at the same Mumford Road Walmart. Kaur and her mother, originally from India, moved to Canada about three years ago.
