Diego Pavia threw three touchdown passes and ran for two more scores and Vanderbilt secured its first winning season since 2013 with a 35-27 victory over Georgia Tech on Friday in the Birmingham Bowl.

In last Friday’s 35-27 win over the Yellow Jackets, Pavia set a school record for most touchdowns by a Vanderbilt player in a bowl game. He ran for three touchdowns and threw for two more, producing 244 yards of total offense.
