Houck’s 30-day rehab clock started June 18 so the Red Sox might not be in a rush to get him back in the majors. Dobbins, on the other hand, has only been out since June 21 with his minor elbow ailment and could rejoin the big league rotation soon.

The Boston Red Sox have been missing Alex Bregman in the middle of the lineup since May but it sounds like there's at least a chance that he couls be days away

Bregman, obviously one of the better third basemen in Major League Baseball, won't be cheap. The Red Sox gave him a player-friendly type of deal, so he can opt out of it after this season if he wants to. With the way he was swinging the bat at the start of the year, many expect that to be the case.
