The MLB All-Star game at Truist Park was underway, featuring some of the biggest and brightest stars in the league. The Atlanta braves didn’t have the first half season that they were hoping for– but there are a few of them playing tonight in the midsummer classic.

Not many of the 41,702 who filled Truist Park will remember the All-Star Game’s score. They may remember it was decided in a home-run derby reminiscent of a soccer penalty-kick shootout after the score was tied at 6-6 at the end of nine innings.

Eight years after its opening, the Braves get to show off Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta to the baseball world.

While Truist Park is more accessible by public transit than you might realize, it nonetheless remains the case that the strong majority of people who attend All-Star festivities will be arriving via car. And of those fans, the strong majority will not be arriving in a rideshare, but with their own car. Which means they'll need parking.
