Princess Diana had a specific vision for her 1996 Met Gala dress, designer John Galliano says in the new Hulu docuseries "In Vogue: The 90s."

In 1996, shortly after her divorce from Prince Charles, Princess Diana made her first and only appearance at the Met Gala. For the event, she wore custom, couture Dior, but the design ended up veering from what the brand envisioned.

He told Harry: "Prince Harry, thank you for your leadership, for your heart, for your vision, for sustaining the legacy of your mother and for inspiring a whole new generation around the world to be engaged in this critical work against the scourge of land mines.”
