The New York Jets could look to replace Aaron Rodgers in the upcoming NFL Draft without spending their first-round pick on it.

Aaron Rodgers has revealed that he has spoke with the New York Jets, including team owner Woody Johnson, about his future. However, no decision is imminent. Rodgers, 41, had what sounds like an end-of-season interview with ownership but there is still plenty to unfold which will factor into whatever the future holds.

New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has given an update on the conversations he's had with the franchise regarding his future.

Rodgers shared some details of his exit interviews with Jets brass, offering some slight details on what he went into with team vice chairman Christopher Johnson and team president Hymie Elhai, without divulging too much about the direction of his talks with owner Woody Johnson.

Rodgers started every game for the Jets last season, passing for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. Coming off an Achilles injury, Rodgers doesn't look like the perennial MVP contender he once was in Green Bay. But the Jets also don't have a clear path forward at the position.
