TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) - More than 20 people gathered at the Florida Capitol to join the nationwide protest ‘Good Trouble Lives On.’ Many are in attendance to protest against President Donald Trump’s mass deportations, cuts to Medicaid and other cuts to safety nets for low-income people.
The gatherings invoked the Civil Rights leader’s memory while offering another venue for groups protesting the Trump administration this year.
The July 17 protest in Green Bay was intended as a demonstration focused on civil rights. Protesters expressed anger and disgust more broadly.
