Disney’s long-in-development Pirates of the Caribbean 6 has received a new update, after nearly a month since franchise star Orlando Bloom confirmed that the project is still in active development. Bloom portrayed the role of Will Turner in the first three installments of the blockbuster franchise.

Captain Jack Sparrow might be sailing the ship again in the latest installment of Pirates of the Caribbean, along with Elizabeth Swan and Will Turner.

However, few are as ubiquitous as Pirates of the Caribbean. The beloved series held the world in a nautical chokehold throughout the 2000s, and its original trilogy has since expanded to include two additional films.
