Democrats on the House Oversight Committee sent a letter to the Department of Justice Thursday asking to view special counsel Jack Smith's findings on President-elect Trump's handling of classified documents.

Attorney General Merrick Garland told Congress he plans to make special counsel Jack Smith’s report on the cases against Donald Trump available to committee leaders and, ultimately, the public, once courts allow,

Smith delivered his completed report to Garland on Tuesday, according to lawyers with the Department of Justice. But it remains unclear when, exactly, a report can see the light of day, with just 12 days remaining before the president-elect returns to the White House.
