Lenovo has been showing off early prototype versions of this technology for a few years, but now the company has announced plans to bring it to market. It won’t be cheap though: the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 is expected to sell for $3500 and up when it goes on sale in June, 2025.

Lenovo presented a concept notebook with a screen that you could expand out sideways. Now, the company is heading in completely the opposite direction - upwards. A prototype of the ThinkBook Plus Gen 6 Rollable on display at the CES tech fair in Las Vegas (running until 10 January) can extend its display frame upwards at the touch of a button or by hand.
