After Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes scored on a one-yard touchdown run in the second quarter with 1:55 remaining, Kelce got in the face of multiple Bills defenders, seemingly to talk some trash after the Chiefs' touchdown.
“Josh is who I used to dream of being like in the NFL,” Kelce said Friday, after a final practice before his Chiefs face Allen and the Bills at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday night in an AFC championship game that has all the makings of a heavyweight fight.
Kelce is coming off one of his better games of the 2024 NFL season. In the divisional round against the Houston Texans, the tight end recorded seven catches for a season-high 117 yards and one touchdown. He became the only player in NFL history to record seven straight seasons with 100+ catches, including the postseason.
