There have been a couple of new developments pertaining to the Minnesota Vikings coaching staff since we updated you yesterday, so let’s get everyone caught up on those. First off, our friends over at Pats Pulpit are reporting that the New England Patriots have interviewed Vikings assistant quarterbacks coach Grant Udinski for their vacant offensive coordinator position.

According to a report from Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic, “there’s some real buzz about” Saleh becoming the next head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars. The team fired Doug Pederson last week and will be on their fifth HC this decade:

Robert Saleh may not have to wait long for his next head-coaching chance. Saleh has emerged as a legitimate candidate for the Jaguars after being fired by the Jets last season, The Athletic reported. The website noted that while it may feel out of “left field” there is some “real buzz” surrounding Saleh’s chances in Jacksonville.

Robert Saleh will interview on Thursday for the open Raiders head coaching job, reports Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. On Tuesday, he’ll interview for the same position with the Jaguars. Saleh, who was fired by the Jets after their Week 5 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, was formerly a linebackers coach in Jacksonville from 2014 to 2016.

Saleh, 45, most recently spent time with the Green Bay Packers as an offensive consultant after being fired on October 8 by the Jets following a Week 5 23-17 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. In three full seasons and five games as the head coach in New York, Saleh compiled a 20-36 overall record.
