Hawaii plays the UC Irvine Anteaters after Harry Rouhliadeff scored 21 points in the Rainbow Warriors' 68-66 loss to the UC Davis Aggies.

UC Riverside is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They managed an 85-81 victory over UC San Diego on Saturday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Highlanders as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

UC San Diego came into the matchup with the nation’s longest winning streak at 12 games, including a win over No. 25 Utah State. UC Irvine, on the other hand, was coming off of a 77-67 win over California State University, Northridge on Jan. 9, a team ranked 103rd in the NET rankings.

Myles Che and the Anteaters erase a 12-point second-half deficit to extend the game, but Barrington Hargress and the host Highlanders outlast them for an 84-80 win.

RV UC Irvine Men’s Basketball (17-2, 7-0) dominated Cal Poly San Luis Obispo (6-14, 0-8), 101-71, at the Bren Events Center on Jan. 18, extending their win streak to seven games and remaining undefeated in conference play. With the win, UCI set a program record with 20 consecutive home wins.

UC Riverside will look to break its three-game road losing streak when the Highlanders face UC Irvine. Thursday's matchup is the first of the season for the squads.
