A Seguin Elementary school student is facing charges for allegedly bringing drugs to school on Wednesday morning.

A 10-year-old San Antonio-area student was arrested and charged with bringing cocaine to her 5th grade classroom at Seguin ISD's Jefferson Elementary School.

A man was killed after he was pinned between a trailer and a building at a Seguin bottle factory, the Seguin Police Department said in a news release.

The Seguin Police Department said Arlen Vargas, 39, was pinned between a tractor-trailer and a building Friday night at a bottling factory outside San Antonio.

Arlen Vargas, 39, was working as a truck driver for a company waiting on a shipment at a Niagara bottling plant in Seguin, Texas, about 40 miles outside San Antonio, when he got trapped between another driver’s truck and a loading dock on Jan. 23, according to KENS.

A magnitude 4.5 earthquake has rattled southern Texas in the vicinity of San Antonio, the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) reported. The quake struck at 9.26 p.m. on Wednesday, at a depth of about 2.3 miles beneath its epicenter on the surface, which lay roughly 12 miles east-northeast of Falls City.
