With the 2024 season now officially over, the Michigan Wolverines are turning their full attention toward building the best roster possible for the 2025 season.

Lawrence Hattar was not a big name in the transfer portal, whatsoever. The Livonia, Mich. native has played for Division II Ferris State since 2022, but at 6-foot-5, 335 pounds, he’s a big body at a position of need along the interior offensive line.

Michigan football already has gotten one transfer portal defensive tackle in former Belleville (Mich.) and Alabama DT Damon Payne. The Wolverines are also targeting another Clemson player in wide receiver Tony Stellato.

Michigan football missed out on Washington State offensive tackle Fa'alili Fa'amoe who commited to Wake Forest, but the Wolverines kept searching for another offensive lineman to come into the fold. Michigan had already secured a commitment from FCS Cal Poly,

Michigan has long been known as a tight end friendly program. If you are a high school TE prospect, Michigan has to be at the top of your list based on how they feature players at that position. Recent TE Colston Loveland is widely viewed as a top 15 NFL draft pick in the upcoming NFL Draft.
