Android's top dogs square off, but for me there's a clear winner when comparing the Galaxy S25 Ultra and Pixel 9 Pro XL.

Samsung offers the Galaxy S25 Ultra in 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage configurations. All of them ship with the same 12GB of RAM. In Taiwan, South Korea, China, and Hong Kong, the 1TB Galaxy S25 Ultra ships with 16GB RAM. Strangely, Samsung is not selling this variant of its newest Galaxy in other markets, including the US.

Design-wise, the Galaxy S25+ is slightly smaller and lighter than its Ultra counterpart. The S25+ measures 158.4 by 75.8 by 7.3 mm and weighs around 190g, while the S25 Ultra measures 162.8 by 77.6 by 8.2 mm and weighs a heftier 218g due to its larger size and premium titanium frame.
