United Way of Central Eastern California (UWCEC) honored educators in Kern County with a special Teacher Tote Giveaway.

The city of Bakersfield announced overnight closures on highways 99 and 58 next week as crews are set to demolish portions of the eastbound 58 and 99 bridge.
