The Chicago area is once again looking at a storm evening with the potential for some severe weather Friday night. Unlike Thursday, however, the threat and expected severity are lower and mainly concentrated southeast of the city.

Significant damage was reported by first responders around Juneau and Mayville, Wisconsin, as a line of tornado-warned storms raced through on Thursday evening.

After a small lull in severe weather on Sunday, conditions may once again turn dangerous for many over the central United States by early next week. Many Southeast Michigan counties were impacted by severe storms and tornado warnings Thursday night.
