A federal judge is set to hear arguments on whether to hold Rudy Giuliani in contempt of court for continuing to spread lies about two Georgia election workers after they secured a $148 million defamation judgment against him.

A federal judge on Monday declared Rudy Giuliani in contempt of court for failing to respond to information requests in a defamation case brought by two Georgia election workers, multiple outlets reported.

Giuliani has refused to turn over assets to former Georgia election workers Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, who won a nearly $150 million defamation lawsuit against him.
