A man has been arrested and charged in the deadly hit-and-run that killed a retired business professor at Troy University in Dothan.

Police charged George Shelby Rice, 55, with striking retired Troy University professor Dr. Marcus Gaddis with his vehicle on Tuesday night. Gaddis died at the Honeysuckle Road scene, the coroner said.
