McLaren team principal Andrea Stella says he has no issues with Oscar Piastri's request to consider team orders after his Formula 1 British Grand Prix penalty. Piastri saw his bid to win the British Grand Prix ruined when he was deemed to brake erratically behind the safety car on lap 21,

The lead car can dictate the pace of the restart, but Piastri was pinged by race stewards for "suddenly" braking. He received a 10-second time penalty, which he served during a pitstop. As a result, McLaren teammate Lando Norris took the race lead and went on to claim victory in his home Grand Prix.

Oscar Piastri aims to use the "frustration" he feels at the penalty which cost him victory at the British Grand Prix as motivation to win more races as he chases the F1 title.
