As the Sixers continue with the summer league in Las Vegas, McCain has been an active member of the team. Despite not being able to play, the second-year guard from Duke has been hanging around the team and has been a presence in practice as he looks to help the youngsters grow.

"We have to figure out our rotations. We have to make sure that we're all healthy…and that we're all out there to play," Tyrese Maxey said.

The Sixers did get younger at certain positions and added size, though they still need Joel Embiid healthy and playing at a high level to contend for an NBA championship.

We had a brief taste of it against the Utah Jazz in Salt Lake City, when the Sixers lost in the final minute, but Edgecombe balled out with 28 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two blocks and a steal, and also showed off some trash-talking chops. For a day or so, everything was golden and Summer League vibes were super high.
