When the 44-year-old shooting victim learned his girlfriend was inside her home with another man, he demanded $50 for recently washing her car, police say.

Police are investigating after one person died and two others were injured during a shooting at a sideshow Sunday night in Oakland's Eastlake neighborhood, authorities said.

Three people were shot during an Oakland sideshow over the weekend, police said, and one of them ended up dying.

The Oakland Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Wednesday morning. The shooting, police said, occurred just after 7 a.m. in the 1200 block of 49th Avenue. Officers were dispatched after a ShotSpotter activation.
