Queensbury Elementary School students welcomed more than 50 veterans to their annual Veterans Day Ceremonies on Friday, Nov.

Students experience different STEAM classes, such as visual arts, drama, dance, music or STEM lab, in three-week cycles. Pre-K students spend 30 minutes three times a week in those classes.

Layla’s mom also receives the pre-K expansion grant, which covers 6.5 hours of school time, and she pays less than $200 for additional hours of “wraparound care” while she’s at work ...
