Danish winger Anders Dreyer has been acquired by Major League Soccer’s expansion San Diego team from Belgium’s Anderlecht and has agreed to a three-year contract.

MLS expansion side San Diego FC have signed Denmark winger Anders Dreyer as their second-ever Designated Player, announced the club on Wednesday.

This Wednesday, January 22, San Diego FC officially announced Anders Dreyer as the club’s latest signing. The Danish winger became the second Designated Player in SDFC history, along with splash signing Hirvig “Chucky” Lozano.

MLS side San Diego FC have announced the signing of Danish winger Anders Dreyer ahead of their first season in the competition. The 26-year-old, who can play across the frontline, has signed a three-year contract through the end of the 2027 MLS season, and becomes the club's second ever designated player.

As expected, Anderlecht has said goodbye to Anders Dreyer. The Dane is moving to San Diego in the MLS. Sporza speaks of a fee of €5.5 million

San Diego FC didn’t just see potential in Anders Dreyer, they went all in, dropping a cool $5 million, plus some performance bonuses, to bring him on board.
