The first baseman, making his fifth start for the NL in the All-Star Game, has achieved icon status with two fan bases.

The Yankees left-hander pulled out of the Midsummer Classic on Friday — and was replaced by teammate Carlos Rodón — due to him starting Saturday’s game against the Cubs, which would have had him pitching on two days of rest in the All-Star Game on Tuesday.

Images of Aaron Judge, Tarik Skubal, Paul Skenes and other stars decorate the walls and light posts around the ballpark in advance of next week’s All-Star Game.

The All-Star Futures Game will take place at Truist Park on Saturday, July 12 at 4 p.m. The seven-inning game will feature top prospects from around Major League Baseball, who will be coached by Braves legends duirng the game. Some of the notable inclusions are Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, Fred McGriff and Tim Hudson.

Ronald Acuña Jr. hit two home runs, including a towering blast to lead off Wednesday night's game against the Athletics, and the Atlanta Braves hit a season-high five homers in a 9-2 victory. The Braves had lost 13 consecutive games in the state of California.

On Friday evening, the Braves announced Ronald Acuña Jr. won't be participating in the Home Run Derby after all, but will still start in Tuesday's All-Star Game.

The Atlanta Braves are taking on Athletics in hopes of winning the series as well as winning their first series in the state of California this season.
