The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for northern and central Rhode Island because of hot temperatures and high humidity.

After a relatively comfortable July 4th, the extreme heat is returning to Massachusetts and the National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory because of how hot it will feel through Monday.The National Weather Service has issued a heat advisory for most of southern New England through Monday at 8 p.

On Monday at 1:23 p.m. the National Weather Service released a heat advisory valid for Tuesday between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m. for Bristol, Plymouth and Barnstable counties.
