Kelly Campbell is out as head of Peacock. She bid her staff goodbye in an email on Thursday, January 9, 2025. IndieWire has obtained that email; it is posted in its entirety below. Campbell told employees she is “stepping down” and that NBCUniversal streaming boss Matt Strauss will announce a “new structure” in “the coming weeks.”

Campbell joined Peacock in 2021 after several years at Hulu. She has presided over a period of growth at the NBCU streamer, which boasts 36 million subscribers as of the third quarter of 2024 and has narrowed its losses of late. More to come.
