Any PSE or Hoyt Bows for finger shooters? - 24hourcampfire
Nov 27, 2017 · Do a little calling around, I would start with Hoyt. They should know where any new old stock would be. If not you can probably find one on ebay or one of the archery forums. I didn't know Hoyt quit making a finger model, I always respected them for making a model for the few remaining finger shooters out there.

Jul 16, 2007 · I still have an old Hoyt FPS that cost $300.00 new for the bare bow and five years later couldn't sell for $75.00 with all the accesories. Ask the pro shop what a fair price would be for the bow. Before the above mentioned Hoyt I had a Martin Cougar Magnum. It was a heck of a good shooting bow for me. Dave.

Oct 12, 2023 · Regarding bows, the Matthews grip feels a little blocky to me and the bow feels a little top heavy. Though, it shoots great. The 2014 Hoyt Carbon is my favorite compound I've had, though I've only had a handful. I think the older Hoyt has a great reputation with many people.

Great bow, loved it - last season traded for a Hoyt Defiant - fancier aluminum bow. Shooting it currently while waiting for a Carbon Defiant. All decent bows, I shoot them all about the same (440-445 on the Vegas 450 round or 50-55X 300's NFAA BHFS) The lack of hand shock is pretty amazing and my last couple bows all have AMO ratings around 330fps.

Sep 2, 2016 · I have an older Xi bow that I bought in the early 1990s, and so I'd say it's about 25 years old. It has a machined aluminum riser and some sort of composite limbs. Is an older bow like this relatively safe to shoot? I haven't archery hunted in many years, but I am thinking about getting it tuned up and restrung, and giving it a go this season.
How adjustible is the draw on the old Hoyt Raider Intruders?
May 26, 2013 · DL on this bow is adjusted by a base cam and module position within that cam. #1 cam gets you 23-25". #2 cam gets you 26-28". #3 gets you 29-32". Basically the same way Hoyts DL system works now Crossed Arrows Archery LLC

Elite VS Hoyt - 24HOURCAMPFIRE
Jan 11, 2014 · Elite will have a hard "back wall" , Hoyt kinda "giving". Elites can be tuned to give about 85% letoff , Hoyt 75%. Both are a quality product. I hunt with Elites because of the high let off and long valley.Let off and valley can be a good friend when You have to hold the bow for extended periods.
