Is the rolling giant (julien statue) still around somewhere?
The giant got demolished along with the valley view mall but kane made a recreation of the cardboard mask prototype for the end scene in TOV 1. It was there at some point prior to final demolition, but what happened to its parts after that I haven't seen anyone mention.

As for the last one, 1855 - 1857 … I’m not sure but it could refer to ‘’La réunion’’, a colony in Dallas founded by Belgian, French and Swiss Colonists. Julien Reverchon joined it in 1855. The colony was dissolved in 1857.

Feb 5, 2021 · It's from a series made by Kan Pixels " (The Oldest View Part 3) The Rolling Giant". It's the same guy who made those backrooms videos. The mall and thing in the video are real, it's the Julien Reverchon Giant. This is not "from a series made by Kane Pixels." The statue and mall are both real, Kane Pixels just used them both for his video.

Oct 19, 2023 · The statue is terrifying as is, and the fact that it looks like Julien Reverchon and has flowery hands is part of the lore. However, I thought I'd give it my own spin based on my initial impression of what the statue was and what made it scary for me.

1837 refers to the birth of Julien Reverchon. 1905 refers to the year he died. Those two examples were what caught my eye when I was watching, but I don't know what the first documents years 1855, and 1857 are supposed to reference. I did some light research into Reverchon's life but I couldn't find anything that made sense.

Oct 9, 2023 · Kane Pixel's "The Oldest View" series is based on a real location. It was set in the "Valley View Center" in Texas, USA. However, this mall partially closed in 2016, and the entire building was demolished in May 2023. The entity in "The Oldest View" is also real. It's a sculpture by Kevin Obregon, named "Julien Reverchon".
