Civil rights activist Coretta Scott King was born #OnThisDay in 1927 in Marion, Alabama. Her vision for social justice was influential to her husband, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and continued long after his death. Scott King’s social justice work began when she was enrolled as a student at Antioch College in Yellow Springs, Ohio.
